Education problems:
1. Guyana has trouble creating an "inclusive education system" that lends itself to providing for the needs of every type of child and learner. The reason for this problem is the lack of resources that Guyanese schools have to provide especially for special needs students, whether that is mental or physical needs. A solution to this problem could be to allocate more money from the gross domestic product of the country. Currently, Guyana is only using 3.59% of their GDP for education. If they used it more for education, the resources could become available to make Guyana have an inclusive education system.
2. Guyana also is in need of information and communication technology, which they are unable to get because of lack of resources in the education sector. Also, people, especially teachers, would need to be trained on the new technology and be willing to adapt to the changes in education. A solution to this problem could also be to use more money from the GDP of Guyana for education. Not only this, but money could be raised through school fundraisers and asking other countries for donations of older computers and technology. These two solutions are definitely doable and realistic.
